Ayodhya: On Monday Prime Minister Narendra Modi declared the start of an era, as the idol of Ram Lalla was revealed at the Ram Temple in Ayodhya during a 'Pran Pratishtha' ceremony. Speaking to the gathered audience at the temples Garbh Griha, the Prime Minister emphasized that January 22 2024 will be forever remembered as the beginning of a transformative 'kaal chakra' resonating for years.
"Our nation has been invigorated by the construction of Ram Mandir. After centuries of patience and sacrifices Lord Ram has finally found his abode " said PM Modi emphasizing the significance of this awaited event.
He continued, "January 22 2024 is not a date; it marks the start of an era. The construction of Ram Mandir has rekindled our peoples spirit. This momentous day will be etched in history for thousands of years. It's a testament to Lord Rams blessings that we are fortunate to witness this occasion."
Emphasizing a sense of liberation Prime Minister Modi stated, "Our country has broken free from the chains of slavery and today the entire nation celebrates Diwali in homage, to Lord Ram who resides within every citizens soul."
Prime Minister Narendra Modi expressed remorse. Sought forgiveness, from Lord Ram for the delay in constructing the temple. He humbly apologized, acknowledging any shortcomings in their love and devotion that led to the delayed fulfillment of this task. However he assured that today marks the bridging of that gap with confidence that Lord Ram will forgive them.
The Prime Minister extended his gratitude to the Supreme Court of India for its role in facilitating the construction of the temple. He acknowledged how questions were raised regarding Lord Rams existence. He appreciated how the Supreme Court ensured justice by allowing the temples construction in accordance with the law.
During a Pran Pratishtha ceremony filled with hour rituals Prime Minister Narendra Modi unveiled the idol of Ram Lalla. Donning a cream kurta and accompanied by a silver 'chattar' (umbrella) he performed rituals within the sanctum sanctorum after offering his sincere dedication ('sankalp').
Prominent dignitaries present, during these rituals included RSS Chief Mohan Bhagwat, Uttar Pradesh Governor Anandiben Patel and Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath.
Devotees and guests joyfully chanted 'Jai Sri Ram', during the ceremony while Prime Minister Modi highlighted the connection, between Lord Ram and the very essence of India. He emphasized that Lord Ram resides within the hearts of every Indian.
